our story

   As a third generation Indigenous crafter, it was inevitable that I picked up some knitting needles and thread. I made my first ever baby blanket - which was my first ever knitting project, for that matter - for my first nephew, because I wanted him to have something from me, to keep him warm and safe. I have been hooked (pun intended) ever since. 

  I believe that every little one should know the warm comfort that only their baby blanket can offer. As heirloom pieces, I hope they're treasured and last a lifetime. Along with baby blankets, I make other threads that everyone can use. Canadian winters can hit hard and every one of us need a warm knit toque and mittens ready to protect us from that biting cold.
